TV Boxes are very popular in recent years,because it can turn any TV into Smart TV with a wide range of options,and allows users to stream movies or any other TV shows from their favorite streaming sites,such as Netflix,Yoube,Hulu ,etc.
The TV Box is connected to a TV and setup to the internet via wired Ethernet or WiFi connection.After the TV Box is connected to TV or internet,you may download and install APPs as you want.The TV box receives the images and sounds provided by analog TV and the digital content which include electronic program guides, Internet pages, subtitles, etc. And it enables users to view digital TV programs on existing televisions and engage interactive digital entertainment, education and commercial activity through the network
As an operating system,Android provides open source by free for users,like Windows or iOS, that was created by Google mainly for mobile phones. And it runs on ARM based processors which makes it portable to any device that runs the same hardware.
While it is mainly used on smart phones it can also be installed on small boxes that run the same hardware but give better input and output options.Here is an example:Android TV Boxes can be output HDMI to a TV giving it HD viewing ability,and they also can use a remote control ,keyboard or muse for input.
